This special evening will feature a presentation by Dr Timothy Winegard, live music by Greg Luck, food truck, local art, books sold by Out West Books, and an introduction by poet laureate of Western Colorado, Wendy Videlock. Dr. Winegard of CMU is a NYT bestselling author of six books, including The Mosquito, a Human History of Our Deadliest Predator. He has appeared on Netflix, CBS This Morning, PBS, C- Span, Global News, BBC, CBC, and hundreds of other national and international documentaries, television and radio programs to discuss his research and books. His most recent book, The Horse, a Galloping History of Humanity, will be the subject of the evening. We will enjoy a presentation by Dr Winegard, a reading of select passages from the book, as well as an interview, Q & A session and book signing. If you haven't been to the Ordinary Fellow Winery you are in for a real treat. It was voted #5 Best New Winery Eexperience in the U.S. by USA Today. Seating is limited. for our free afternoon concert presentation "Sparkle and Shine" at the Eckert Presbyterian Church located at 13025 Hwy 65, Eckert, CO 81418, on Sunday afternoon, November 17th, at 3:00 pm. We will be singing a wonderful variety of eclectic songs and also be including many of your favorite Winter Holiday and Christmas songs. This is a great way to get into the holiday mood and promote Love, Peace and Joy throughout our community. The chorus will also have several amazing guest quartets performing at this concert.
