 Get in the festive spirit with classic carols and holiday favorites from the full symphony and Western Colorado Chorale. Kick off your holiday season in grand style as the Western Colorado Chorale and full forces of the GJSO unite for an evening of your favorite yuletide hits! Beloved carols and classic seasonal tunes infused with the power and magic of a full orchestra and chorus. Under the batons of Charles Latshaw and Dirk Johnson, the stage comes alive with the joyful melodies of the season, transporting audiences to a world of holiday cheer and merriment. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the performance; most people arrive 40 minutes early. Concessions are available before the concert and at intermission. Parking: Plenty of parking around Colorado Mesa University Performing Arts Center with no passes needed on weekends or after 5 p.m. on Fridays. Dress Code: Wear what you like; dressing up is optional. General Guide for Applause: Clap for the Concertmaster, Conductor, and after each piece. Etiquette: Please silence devices, limit noise, and be considerate to ensure everyone enjoys the performance.

performances of this full-length ballet will be presented by Western Colorado's premier professional ballet company, Colorado West Performing Arts Company (CWPAC). This enchanting two-act ballet takes you alongside Clara's magical journey to defeat the Mouse King and join the Nutcracker Prince in the Land of Sweets, leaving the theatre with plenty to share and remember. Featuring thirteen professional company artists, three trainees, and other talented local youth who auditioned for supporting roles, this show runs just under two hours, including a 20-minute intermission. After each performance, opportunities to meet the cast and take photos will be available in the auditorium or lobby.
