Details: Thinking about buying an electric vehicle? Or just curious about the technology? This free two-part, indoor/outdoor event is designed to get you up to speed. Schedule: • 4-6 pm - Ride-and-drive in the Grand Valley UU Church parking lot (just north of the library, 536 Ouray Ave.) • 6-7:30 pm - Presentation featuring special guest Will Toor, Executive Director of the Colorado Energy Office, in the library's Mesa Room Test-drive cars, talk to current EV owners, learn about special discounts on EVs at local dealers, pencil out state and federal tax credits, ask questions about the technology, get unbiased advice about your options, and hear what the future holds from one of the state’s leading experts on clean transportation and energy.
