9—5 Friday and Saturday; Sunday 10—4 at the Montrose Pavilion,,More than 150 quilts by local artisans will be on display. Also featured will be vendors, a raffle quilt, a boutique where the public can purchase hand crafted quilted items, scissor sharpening, classes, Saturday afternoon lecture by quilt artist David Taylor, and Sunday bed turnings. Cindy Brick will appraise quilts, both new and antique, by appointment. Class, lecture and appraisal details can be found on the website. Can’t make it to the show? District’s Summer Sounds Music Series, presented by the Town of Silverton! This free open air music series takes place every 3rd Friday of the month from June through September in Silverton's Memorial Park. Denver band Dragondeer will join us July 15th. They hasve conjured the rhythm spirits to concoct a blend of Psychedelic Blues, Retro Funk, Soul and Rock-n-Roll into a genre blur that's aim is to speak to souls and keep the body moving.
