Join us for an special series of intimate chef-crafted Harvest Dinner Series - a curated dining experience celebrating local farms, seasonal ingredients and culinary artistry. Each dinner series features a multi-course, locally sourced meal served in the welcoming setting of the 7th St Community Cafe. Our Culinary & Local Food Systems Director, Chef Kaye Davis, working with our apprentices and graduates from CMU Tech Culinary School, will partner with area farmers and producers to create a memorable culinary experience that reflects the values of nourishment, dignity and community.

Poe’s Poisoned Pen, an immersive theatrical experience that peels back the ink-stained layers of mystery surrounding the life and death of Edgar Allen Poe. This interactive Chautauqua-style production brings to life the rivals, muses, and critics who shaped—and sometimes haunted—the legacy of Edgar Allan Poe: Elizabeth Ellet, Rufus Griswold, Sarah Helen Whitman and Virginia Poe. Set in the literary salons of the 1800s, the event blends historical storytelling with audience Q&A, offering a rare chance to engage directly with the performers and their research. Expect gothic intrigue, poetic rivalry, and a few ghostly echoes from beyond the grave. Doors open at 1:45 pm, show at 2 pm. Tickets for the show on October 25 and November 1 are available online at the Museums of Western Colorado’s website; $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.
