Celebrate age at Grand Junction BeaconFest! Colorado’s premier event for boomers and seniors returns to Grand Junction on Thursday, April 17 with free admission, live music, resources and big giveaways! Grand Junction’s biggest and funnest celebration for seniors, baby boomers and their families is back! BeaconFest, the state’s largest senior expo, takes over the Grand Junction Convention Center on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is FREE for a full day of entertainment and education for adults age 60 and older. BeaconFest is the best chance to visit directly with more than 100 local businesses and national agencies devoted to helping seniors age well in Western Colorado. Attendees can enjoy live music from some of the area’s most beloved musicians, sample delicious food from local restaurants and gain valuable information from expert-led seminars on a variety of topics. Plus, attendees can enter drawings for prizes every half-hour! At 1 p.m., the Volunteer of the Year ceremony will honor outstanding senior volunteers who make a difference in our community. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the performance; most people arrive 40 minutes early. Concessions are available before the concert and at intermission. Dress Code: Wear what you like; dressing up is optional. General Guide for Applause: Clap for the Concertmaster, Conductor, and after each piece.
