screening policy or protocol, and the risk factors for the disease continue to be relatively unchanged. There are two distinct pathways by which most people come to oral and oropharyngeal cancer. One is through the use of tobacco and alcohol, a long-term. The Oral Cancer Foundation is hosting its first ever Awareness Walk in Fruita. We will be offering free cancer screenings to the public and resources should something look suspicious during the screening. Please join us in bringing oral cancer awareness to the Western Colorado community.
