This year’s annual Fall Fund Drive is focused on celebrating 20 years of community radio and involvement. The KAFM Community Radio Fall Fund Drive takes place from October 11th-18th. KAFM Community Radio is a non-profit, member powered radio station that relies on member and volunteer support to provide The Grand Valley with a variety of musical and community affairs programming. This year’s Fall Fund Drive features a give-away for two tickets to see Penn and Teller at the Rio Resort and Hotel Las Vegas with lodging on November 9th. Pledges of $120 or more to KAFM Community Radio during the fund drive will be entered to win this exciting package valued over $600! Pledge online through kafmradio.org.

Grand Valley fine artists are extending an exclusive invitation to the public. They are opening the doors of their private studios. From the large purpose-built studio, to the small adaptive workspace, each artist studio is a unique world.
With a variety of tools, lighting, and work space, every studio allows artistic ideas and inspiration to take life. Each studio is organized to accommodate individual artists’ own special processes and techniques. The studio is where the artist spends hours, months or even years working to create art that only takes seconds to view!
Map in hand – or phone in hand – you are an explorer. Discover hidden nooks and amazing views of the Grand Valley. Visit places you didn’t dream existed, enter private sanctuaries of artistic creativity, impressive home galleries, and witness in-progress demonstrations. Expand your knowledge and appreciation of our valley’s amazingly talented and generous art community. Take the opportunity to purchase an original piece of art.
