Executive Chef Dave Kassera aims to take you away by recreating authentic Creole dishes from the Who's Who of iconic restaurants in the historic Vieux Carre at Edesia: A Palisade Culinary, Wine & Spirits on Sunday, on Sunday, April 7, at the Wine Country Inn.
Edesia's VIP Luncheon is set for 11 am to 1 pm in the Vineyard Ballroom; the main event featuring food, libations, chef demos and live Dixieland music happens from 2 to 5 p.m.
Edesia is presented by Alpine Bank with St. Mary's Medical Center and Peach Street Distillers to benefit MarillacHealth, which serves uninsured and under-insured patients in Mesa County.
The Silent Auction located in the Orchard Room will offer a wide selection of items for bid, ranging from hand crafted goods to deluxe lodging to live plants from local florists.
Tickets are available online at www.edesiapalisade.com through a secure PayPal portal or in person at Wine Country Inn.
Cost for the VIP Luncheon is $125 per person. The afternoon main event General Admission tickets are $50 per person.
Chef Kassera and his culinary team will demonstrate how to prepare some of the dishes featured at the VIP Luncheon at 3:30 pm in the new Caroline's Restaurant.

The play, written by Zephyr Stage founders Kim and Valerie Nuzzo, and featuring Kim as the father of American poetry, will be performed on June 1, 2019 at the Walt Whitman Birthplace State Historic Site, in South Huntington, New York.
