Want a hand painted portrait of your own pet that you did yourself? Come on out and paint your pet under our artist's direction while simultaneously supporting Graceland Animal Rescue and Sanctuary! Part of the proceeds will go to the local rescue, Graceland Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. Graceland is not a Facility but rather a Foster-based Rescue that relies on foster home within our Grand Junction community to offer temporary sanctuary to our dogs until permanent, loving homes can be found. OR You can paint your pet's silhouette on the CO Flag! Just let me know if you want to paint your pet's portrait or your pet's silhouette on the CO Flag in the email. PET PICTURE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Saturday, November 24th. After Registering: Email us your pet's picture along with your name to CreativeCanvasParty@Gmail.com. Do this for each person coming (if paying for friends). Please put the date of the event in the subject line of the email. We will sketch that breed along with their "paw print" on the pre-sketched flag canvas or simply sketch your pet on a blank canvas if doing the pet portrait painting. Have a mixed breed pet and want to do the CO Flag Painting? No problem! Just send us a level picture of your pet (siting or standing) and we'll sketch out his/her silhouette from the picture. Standing side profiles come out the best. PET PICTURE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Saturday, November 24th. That's all folks! After you do those things you are registered and your personalized pre-sketched canvas will be ready and waiting when you arrive! Please send your information, or questions here: CreativeCanvasParty@Gmail.com Click here for the event website |

everywhere to act on climate change and create a healthy future for our planet. On December 3-4, Climate Reality is presenting 24 Hours of Reality: Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves. Hosted by Vice President Al Gore and featuring an all-star lineup of political icons, artists, scientists, and more, 24 Hours of Reality: Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves will travel the globe for 24 straight hours with thought-provoking conversations, rousing musical performances, and inspiring stories. I’m hosting a viewing party and inviting people who – just like you – are concerned about the health of our families and communities to watch a segment of the program with me and join millions worldwide in urging our leaders to press forward on the climate fight. Fossil fuels might be the greatest threat to public health worldwide, driving a climate crisis and threatening the health of our families and communities. Extreme weather is on the rise, infectious diseases are spreading, and our food and water supplies are increasingly at risk. And yet, far too few people are talking about it. That’s why we’re sounding the alarm on the clear and present danger that fossil fuels and climate change pose to the health of families and communities across the planet. This year’s 24 Hours of Reality will highlight just what’s at stake, and show us how there are already solutions underway to help us transition to a cleaner, brighter, and healthier future for us all. Plus, it’s going to be a great program and a lot of fun to watch together. We’ll hear the modern tales of how citizens, scientists, entrepreneurs, and local leaders are creating practical solutions that work. I hope you’ll join us! EVENT DETAILS When: December 3rd, 7:00 - 9:00 (come early!) Where: Factory, 750 Main Street, Grand Junction RSVP: Sandi@HighNoonSolar.com Please RSVP by Dec 2nd. If we come together to speak with one voice, our leaders will have to listen. Thanks in advance for joining me to help create a better world. Hope to see you there! Sandi & Wayne Sturm, Climate Reality Leaders
