Adults bring a kit to build. Then, we will stop-motion film our creations battling each other. This is an adult event. If you have to ask if you count as an adult, you're probably an adult. Mention Geek Parties of the Grand Valley when buying your kit at eBricks Outlet Store for a 10% discount. 15% from all purchases at Steadfast Delights will go to Geek Parties to help fund more free events, so invite your families and friends to come in and hang out in the Ice Cream parlor. They have coffee, breakfasts, sandwiches, and of course, desserts.

Amy Kline takes a new, sculptural approach to creating lamps in high-fire porcelain on the potters’ wheel. This is a great way to bring fine more...0 art and sculpture into the home in a functional way. Amy will start with the initial drawing/design and progress to measurements, weights, and use calipers to fit forms together post-firing. Amy uses lots of color and texture in cone 10 reduction.

This two-day workshop will provide an overview of cold wax in an atmosphere that encourages a sense of play and discovery. You’ll learn to more...0 explore and create with cold wax, oil paint, and acrylic (which can be used on the first layer to paint in a design). Cold wax medium provides rich texture, depth, and discovery. Layers can be covered up with more layers of wax and oil paint as the artist’s composition evolves. No experience necessary; students of all skill levels are welcome, and will walk away with two completed paintings.

RMPBS Kids Fun Fest is created to celebrate the Children and Families in our community: the Grand Valley and surrounding areas. The purpose of Kids more...0 Fun Fest is to have all those in attendance, participate in engaging, educational, and inspiring activities, that creates a fun environment with those that make up and are a part of our community. Kids will have the opportunity to hang out with Clifford the big red Dog, and will also have the opportunity to meet one of our “Super Why!” friends, Alpha Pig. With over 30 booths scheduled to be present the sponsored by our local businesses and organizations, we strive to create a fun filled day, the reminds our family and children about the core of our community.
