Sunday Matinee

Variety for your Sunday afternoon!

Sundays Noon-3pm.

Weezy

EMAIL

The DJ known as weezy grew up in the 80’s listening to rock, new wave, punk, and blues. Early influences were diverse, including Talking Heads, John Lee Hooker, U2, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Devo, Midnight Oil, The Clash, “Weird Al” Yankovic, The Cure and many more. Weezy rejects the arguments that  “there is no good music anymore” or “the artists of my generation were better.” Every show is an exploration of new artists, new songs, and new sounds that prove that talent and creativity are alive and well and can be found right here on KAFM.
