KAFM is Volunteer-Powered
Volunteers are the core strength of KAFM. With over 100 volunteer programmers and 100 off-air volunteers, KAFM volunteers come from all walks of life and fill a variety of positions.
KAFM volunteers serve as the engine that drives the station. Some volunteer opportunities with KAFM include: on-air music programming, community affairs, and interviews; concerts and events in the Radio Room; community events and outreach, maintaining our facilities and grounds, previewing new music, and helping organize our library and our bi-annual Membership drives.
KAFM volunteers will be kept informed of what's going on at the station through regular
e-mails and our website detailing new programs, fundraising opportunities, volunteer positions and special events.
Some KAFM volunteer opportunities require specific training, while others can be accomplished with 'on-the-job' training.
Involvement is not limited to the volunteer opportunities on this brochure. If you have a special talent or interest, please let us know. To become a KAFM volunteer fill out and return this brochure to KAFM at 1310 Ute, or email your interests to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 241-8801.
