Spring 2010
This Spring's KAFM Fund Drive features a wide variety of zany antics and shenanigans to get those phones ringing! Here are a few special events and premiums offered during this Spring's drive...but this is just a sampling--you need to tune in to really know what's going on!
Saturday March 20th...
from 6 to 9 pm... Jabeaux and the Heliotrope will be offering a home-cooked cajun meal for a member who pledges a dollar a day--$365!!! Jabeaux will come to your home and cook an authentic cajun meal from a recipe that's been in his family for over 100 years...You supply the food and the kitchen and he'll bring the music and whip up a tasty meal for up to ten folks. Offered only on the Saturday Showcase, from 6 to 9 pm.
from 9 to midnight...The Lost Sailor will be hosting The Brokedown Palace, showcasing listener's special stories about the band. If you'd like to share, come on down and say it on 88.1!
Sunday, March 21st:
from 8 to 11 am...The Global Groove girls present the Global Groove Greek Omelette Buffet, by Good Pastures. The buffet is free with your pledge to the show or for a donation of $10.
Monday, March 22nd
from 12-1 pm...The ReelTime Radio show on KAFM will feature tickets to the next independent movies offered every third Thursday on the Radio Room
from 4-6:30 pm...Veta Bluegrass will be offering special premiums such as signed posters from the bluegrass greats!
