KAFM 88.1 Community Radio is dedicated to serving our fellow non-profit organizations in the Grand Valley. It's an important part of our mission. Here are just some of the ways non-profits can make KAFM a part of their marketing and development program.
Public Service Announcements (no charge)
No station in our market devotes more time to PSA's. Simply email
your PSA to: psa@kafmradio.org. Remember, try to keep your message short and
to the point (who, what, where, when, and why).
Local Public Affairs and Interviews (no charge)
Every weekday, from noon to 1 pm, KAFM 88.1 devotes an hour to local affairs and interviews. To inquire about doing an on-air interview at KAFM, email: robert@kafmradio.org or call 241-8801 ext. 206.
The Kitchen Sink (no charge)
As part of our noon hour program, KAFM provides a call-in show every Friday from noon to 1 pm. We're here for you to get your message directly out to our listeners. Simply call 241-8801 ext. 1 during the noon hour on Fridays and you'll get right on the air to tell our listeners about your organization's mission, volunteer needs, special events, etc.
Entertainment Calendar (no charge)
Every week, KAFM creates a new entertainment calendar. Several times a day, the calendar is broadcast on-air. E-mail your event details two weeks in advance of your event to: entertainment@kafmradio.org.
Online Calendar (no charge)
KAFM maintains an online calendar of events. Go to www.kafmradio.org and click on "submit an event" and follow the easy instructions to enter your event.
Underwriting
Some of the most successful non-profits in the valley underwrite with KAFM Community Radio. They know that it's a great value and a perfect way to reach a very specific demographic of dedicated community-minded people. Contact

The Radio Room
KAFM's Radio Room has become well known as one of the best small venues for music in the Valley. Now it's available to rent for private events. Meetings, workshops and performances can all be accommodated. Additionally, video
and audio services can be arranged. Call 241-8801 ext. 216.
Special Projects
KAFM can provide audio production and design services for special projects, cds, etc. Call 241-8801 ext. 210.
