LET'S DANCE -- James "Jim" Eisenhauer

Jim plays music from the years of WWII, including big band swing and jazz.
Bio/Inspirations/Favorite music: Jim has lived in Grand Junction since 1951, and was in business with his father (Ed) and twin brother (Jerry) (Eisenhauer Dodge). At one time, the family had franchise agreements to service and sell: Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Dodge Trucks, Mazda, Subaru, Jeep, Triumph, Volvo, Peugeot and Borgward. Since 1994, Jim has been a fundraiser for Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado, including a $10 million dollar capital campaign.
His first radio experience was for Grand Junction High School 1955-1956, on air Saturday mornings, KEXO, “Tiger Tales.” Jim also did “live” and pre-taped television commercials in the '60s. Jim enjoys most music, including classical, blues, jazz, country and oldies.
Jim began, on air, with KAFM in February, 2002 and continues doing a public affairs program on the first Thursday of each month from 12:30 pm to 1 pm. In May, 2003, Jim opened “Jim’s Diner” -- every other Sunday from 6am to 9am. In September, 2007, he closed "Jim's Diner" to fill Richard Kowalski's shoes in "Lets Dance" every other Thursday from 9 am - Noon.
