STRAIGHT AHEAD JAZZ -- Billywags

Hardly any "straight ahead" here.  But she’s still the mother of it all, eh?  This is a very eclectic jazz show, with emphasis on a modern style, harmonic blend and lots of vocals, especially on topics other than love.  Not that there’s anything wrong wit luv, but there’s other things to sing about….

 Growing up, my folks had a restaurant with a jazz piano bar, and they always had live talent in from Kansas City, so the trio holds fond memories for me.  But I still like classic rock, blues and, for sure, Americana.
