Music has always been a refuge. I tend to favor guitar- based rock, comfort food, but I'm not afraid to venture out to the fringe.  In Austin, my wife taught me to appreciate real country music, but I came at it from folks like, Joe Ely, Doug Sahm, Willie Nelson, etc. I feel fortunate to have met, albeit briefly, my heroes, Todd Rundgren and Rory Gallagher. The greatest band ever: the Beatles. Heir to the throne: Todd Rundgren.
