THE MORNING MUSE -- Mark

I will be playing songs I have grown up with over the last 40 years... consisting mainly of rock, alternative, some jazz and blues. One will hear from the Beatles to Wilco and a whole bunch of stuff in-between. Music where the listener may have heard of the band, but not their music -- like, say, the Velvet Underground, Tommy Bolin, David (not Mark) Knopfler, and on and on it goes. But, more importantly, I want to play what the listeners want to hear. This is their show!

Having been to hundreds of concerts and listened to thousands of albums, I enjoy songs with a soul (soul meaning music with great lyrics AND fantastic melodies). Music has always taken me back to certain people, places and things in my life, so music is like a personal jounal to me. The new music I am playing and listening to today is actually creating a a life history for me to look back on 20 years from now. "My music collection is large, and my TV is small."
