Intaglio is the act of scarring a metal plate. This course will go through some of the techniques used to scar the plate to create an image, and how to transfer this image onto paper, to create a print. The goal behind this workshop is to introduce people to the tools and techniques used in creating an intaglio print, and also to generate interest and education within the community about the printmaking arts.
Taylor Lee Bisbee started school in Northwestern College as a graphic design major, but quickly discovered that he was best suited for a fine art career. After attending Northern Wyoming College to explore the arts and build technical skills, Taylor moved to Grand Junction to grow in the printmaking arts and receive a double BFA in studio art and art history at Colorado Mesa University.
