Handel's "Messiah" Concert

The Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction will present its ninth annual performance of Handel's "Messiah" on Easter Sunday afternoon, Mar 31, at the Avalon Theater. The concert is a $10,000 production that is offered as a musical gift to the Grand Junction community (admission is free). "Messiah" is both a classical music masterpiece and a powerful message of spiritual renewal. A brief "Informance" (short presentation intended to enhance your enjoyment of the concert) is offered at 1:45 pm just prior to the concert. "Messiah" is a moving experience for listeners who are experiencing it for the first time as well as for the twentieth time. Come with friends and family to receive this musical gift.
