What do parents, teachers and students need to know about dyslexia?
Dyslexia can be a misunderstood term that relates to an individual's struggle with
learning to read, write, spell and sometimes do math. The goal of this talk is to
demystify the term dyslexia while helping students, parents and teachers understand
not only the challenges, but also the strengths of our students with dyslexia.
Join Elenn Steinberg, past president of the International Dyslexia Association - Rocky
Mountain Branch and Brittany Morris, senior at Denver University as they share their
journeys as parent and student with dyslexia, the most current dyslexia research and
how to get the best services for your child.
