The workshop is designed for working artists and covers the essentials of accounting. Dawn is a right-brained artist who focused her career on management and accounting for information technology projects. After retiring, she moved to the Oregon Coast where she studied glass fusing. She returned to Colorado in 2007 and set up her own studio in Cedaredge. She has run it successfully ever since. Students should expect to find some creative ways to organize their business by dealing with the paperwork and reporting. The students will learn to answer important questions: Am I making any money? Where am I spending money? Which products are most profitable? The students can bring food and beverages for a working lunch during the class.
