Mystical alters celebrating Dia de los Muertos, jewelry, painting and the dynamic raku firing are all part of the 2012 Demo Nite disciplines highlighted on November 2 at 7 pm. The Art Center will fill the building with creatives working in the media of assemblage, bookmaking, clay, collage, drawing, music, painting, photography, sculpture and much more. Every year the line-up changes with new artistic talent, giving visitors a chance to meet new artists and participate in the joy of the process.
Art making is contagious and, for those who want to work as well as watch, there is the community portrait wall available for artists to contribute to with the help of the “Outsider” artists.
Help us celebrate the life and commitment of Ruth Moss, whom we lost in December of 2011. There is not a day that goes by that her name is not mentioned here.
