The Junction Clay Arts Guild is pleased to once again partner with the Western Colorado Center for the Arts to present our 10th annual exhibition. Combining significant advances in creativity with input from several new members, this year’s exhibit will be our most exciting yet. We will be exhibiting a wide variety of styles and techniques that are sure to enhance both your knowledge and appreciation for the clay arts. This exhibit will feature functional work, as well as sculpture and pottery as fine art.

Our guild has been in existence since 2001. During the nine years since our inception, the guild has grown to about 40 active members, ranging from novice to full time professional artists. We participate as a group in at least two public shows a year. Some individual members also exhibit as individuals or participate with other organizations.

We meet on the first Thursday of the month at the studio of GJ Clay, to not only discuss the business at hand, but to socialize and share methods and techniques. We also get together at least twice a year, along with spouses for potluck dinner and general merriment.
