F.A.C. Friday Acupuncture Clinic for Pain and Stress Relief

This clinc is a community-style acupuncture experience, where a group of people receive acupuncture treatments together, in a quiet, comfortable environment. People may drop-in, no appointment is necessary at this time. The community acupuncture style of treatment provides affordable, symptomatic relief of a wide variety of health issues; anxiety, headaches, insomnia, pain relief, all of the many ways that stress affects us. This is a great opportunity to experience the power of acupuncture. The treatments last approximately 20-30 minutes, plus 10-15 min. to fill out the paperwork prior to the first treatment. The fee is $30 per treatment or buy an F.A.C. card in November and get 5 treatments for $100 ($20 each)! The cost of the F.A.C card will go up after November 30th to 4 treatments for $100 ($25 each).

Dates and Time: Friday afternoons, 3-6 pm (last treatment begins at 5:30)

Movement Therapies is located 1.5 blocks south of St. Mary's Hospital in the Medical Arts Center on the east side of 7th street. Plenty of parking, handicap accessibility and a quiet off street location make this a comfortable setting. This is a yoga/movement class studio, the acupuncture particpants will be reclining on yoga mats, blankets and bolsters on the floor. Wear comfortable loose clothing. You will remain fully clothed, acupuncture points will be used that are easily accessible while clothed. Please bring whatever you would like to have, pillows, additional blankets etc., for your comfort.
