65th Annual Member’s Art Exhibit
October 3 through November 10, 2012
First Friday Opening Reception will be October 5, 7 – 9 pm
Gallery Talk 6:30 pm

The exhibit will showcase 2 dimensional works from B&P Members of all abilities. This is a Juried show and the categories are: Professional, Advanced, and Amateur, with Ribbons and Awards in each class.

The Show Prospectus is available in the front lobby of the Art Center, and online at gjbrushandpalette.org or by following this link. The show is open to all members of the Brush & Palette club. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional-if you are an artist who creates 2-D art (drawing, painting, collage, pastel, etc…), you are welcomed and encouraged to become a member. The cost of membership is $25 annually, and is a fantastic opportunity to meet other artists, exchange ideas, learn new skills and improve standard techniques at our monthly meetings and demos.

This year, we are happy to have Vera Mulder, a local professional artist and teacher, as our Judge. Vera’s work is shown at Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade, CMU, the Oakley Gallery in Grand Junction, as well as numerous other venues. She has judged many shows in Colorado, has served on the GJ Arts & Culture Commission, and was the designer for Fruita Art Camps for Youth.
