The Public is invited to this 3-evening seminar series on how water is managed in our region.
Session 1 (2/9) will cover the basics of Colorado Water Law and introduce you to local water managers. Session 2 (2/16) will cover current water supply issues and the tradeoffs policy makers are balancing to plan for the future. Session 3 (2/23) will look at Water Quality in our area, provide updates on selenium and salt control measures and drilling proposals, and will feature a panel on the state's proposal to monitor and control nutrients in waterways.
We anticipate being able to provide continuing education and professional development credits for lawyers, realtors, teachers, water system operators, and other water professionals.
