KAFM 88.1 Community Radio presents beautiful pastel paintings in The Gallery @ The Radio Room!

The Gallery @ The Radio Room is pleased to present an exhibit of local pastel artists July 15 through September 30.

The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 1 pm, and at all Radio Room events.  The Gallery is also open by appointment.  All works sold in the gallery benefit KAFM Community Radio.  (Thirty percent of the purchase price goes to KAFM.)

The opening reception for the Colorado Pastel Society show is on Saturday, August 15th from 5:30 til 6:30, just prior to the concert that evening.  The reception is free and complimentary refreshments will be served.

And don't miss New Music Fridays at the Gallery!  Every Friday, we'll be playing new music from the station's library from 10 am to 1 pm.  Bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy the art work.  We'll provide the beverages!

KAFM is happy to collaborate on this show with the Pastel Society of Colorado, which seeks to promote the art of pastel painting through regular meetings that feature educational presentations and demonstrations by respected artists. 

There are over 200 members in the Colorado society.  About 40-50 are on the Western Slope.
