The Radio Room at KAFM just might be the perfect venue for your group's gathering. The Radio Room can be configured as a conventional 75-seat auditorium with impeccable acoustics.
Or, you may choose to set up the room with multiple tables and a more flexible seating configuration that is suitable for a party or smaller groups. Such an arrangement is great for workshops and seminars.
However you choose to use the room, you can be assured of a great facility and the complete cooperation of KAFM's expert staff as well as a menu of services and unmatched promotional assistance that is guaranteed to help make your event a success.

Damage Deposit: KAFM requires a $100 damage deposit for
all rentals. Please include a separate check along with your rental payment.
Your damage deposit will be returned once a staff member has inspected the
facilities after your event.
*A member has a paid membership at any level in the prior 12 months. To qualify for volunteer rates, an individual will have volunteered at least 10 hours in the prior 12 months. Discounts are available for repeat or regularly scheduled rentals.
KAFM does not possess a liquor license; therefore no alcoholic beverages can be sold at Radio Room Rentals. Any complimentary use of alcohol at events needs to be approved by KAFM.
For rentals that require KAFM staff oversight, there is an additional fee. This and other additional costs are decided upon by an event-by event basis.
KAFM has the right to refuse rentals due to other events or because of possible negative impacts on existing facilities, programs, or operations.

- Basic public address system for non musical presentations

Musician's Special
The Radio Room is perfect for digital recording projects. You can receive your unmixed master files for further off-site mixing, or create a finished and mastered project ready for packaging and duplication.
Recording: $40 per hour (3 hour minimum).
Additional mixing and mastering: $35 per hour.
