What it's about

This 'Lifelong Learning Series' presents topics and speakers from around the world and around our community. We think our listeners and supporters will find this series unlike anything else they have ever been exposed to.

It's knowledge for knowledge sake...and its fun! We intend to explore all the things that make life in the 21st century interesting...and we'll do it with the people who have firsthand experience. Essentially this is about storytelling from those who can share their unique experiences and perspectives.

Beyond Radio's Vision

KAFM Community Radio continues to realize an expanded vision of projects loosely referred to at the staton as "Beyond Radio." It includes the very successful series of concerts and live broadcasts from the Radio Room as well as this series of presentations and plans to expand KAFM's reach and service to its community in a number of new and interesting ways.

We're starting with what we know best and that's the incredible talent and experience of our own Grand Junction citizens. You might be very surprised at the life stories and adventures that our own friends and neighbors have had on the way to being a part of this community. We intend to bring those stories and experiences to life for KAFM friends and supporters and along the way enhance this as a place of ideas and diversity and common ground.
