Boulder Acoustic Society is a band of four young musicians ready to take audiences to the edge of American roots music. Americana, gospel, and the blues all combine with a muscular indie rock edge to craft music that is rooted deeply in the past but pointed directly towards the future. The energy these players bring to the music means an incredibly varied live performance. One tune may conjure up an apocalyptic hurricane while the next may take your hand and lead you directly through the eye of the storm. With a deep-rooted yet hard-edged approach to American music, the Boulder Acoustic Society may just be the future of Americana, but they are certainly its heart and soul.
