On Saturday, May 22, the Radio Room at KAFM will host Lesley Kernochan. Lesley Kernochan is a Boulder based singer/songwriter making quite a splash with her most recent album, THE PICKLE JAR. CD Baby named it “Editor’s Pick of the Week” out of the 300,000 albums they carry and Lesley’s music has been featured on many different podcasts and radio stations.

Lesley’s songs showcase her captivating four-octave voice and clever,poetic lyrics. Lesley has a wide range of influences in her soundfrom folk pop to jazzy bluegrass, sprinkled with a dash of opera. Her music has been compared to Regina Spektor, Nellie McKay, and Tori Amos. Lesley has released two solo albums (THE PICKLE JAR [2009] and UNDULATING [2006]) and has traveled internationally with several different highly acclaimed bands.
