When asked to describe their sound, this Utah duo says, "There's a real hillbilly influence, but as songwriters, we play a variety of sounds and instruments. Thus the VooDoo part of our name." Lance Weaver and Tamlyn Weaver met in 1993 and have played together ever since. Their songs are strongly influenced by old-time music and great songwriters like Lucinda Williams, Townes Van Zandt, Greg Brown and Steve Earle, to name a few. Their lyrics seek to reflect the trials and struggles of our lives and the broader influence of the world we live in.
