Sheridan and Ritchie are award-winning songwriters, and their act is highly entertaining and intelligent.
Sheridan first appeared on the national folk scene in 1992 when she won the songwriting contests at both the Kerrville Folk Festival and Telluride Bluegrass Festival. This storyteller moves seamlessly from lyrical story into song and back again. She’s released seven albums and has written a one-woman show entitled THE POMEGRANATE SEED – AN EXPLORATION OF APPETITE, BODY-IMAGE AND MYTH IN MODERN CULTURE.
Sheridan has played at several prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center. Her modern renditions of mythology (meet Hades as a biker) have won her fans and praise from the press.
"Sheridan is frank, feisty, sublimely and devilishly funny. She fuses myth with modern culture; Persephone with Botox." – Cornell Folksong Society
"Sheridan still remains the unapologetic voice of our conscience… she deftly delivers her message with honesty and grace." – The Album Network
"… A sparkling acoustic-folk journey from beginning to end.” – CURVE MAGAZINE
