Pretty soon it became evident that something special happened when we played together, and the band—which was originally meant to be a moonlighting side-gig for all of us—became our main gig.

A groundbreaking musical iconoclast known for founding genre-defying ensembles, Gripper has collaborated with musical heavyweights including Ballake Sissoko, Toumani Diabaté, American cellist Mike Block, and Australian classical guitar god John Williams. Having graced world stages from Cape Town to Vancouver and played storied venues from Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall to the Kennedy Center to Carnegie Hall, Gripper's one-night appearance for an intimate show in Paonia in between Denver and Miami dates is one not to be missed.
